Alienware
Yeah, you've heard of them, Alienware. Their those guys that build all those expensive gaming computers with the funny names. But what is their history? Who are they and what do they sell? How am I going to get the best bang for the buck when purchasing my next Alienware computer? We explain ALL of this in this blog.

Some history:

Alienware was established in 1996. They started with the idea of "build your own" computer reigns (but a little more expensive than building your own huh?). Alienware has earned numerous awards for excellence and has become a respected brand name worldwide with systems available direct within the United States, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. According to employees, the Alienware name was chosen because of the founders' fondness for the hit television series The X-Files, hence the theme to their products, with names such as Grey and Area-51. Alienware was originally established to gear towards the high performance game market, which back then was not on the radar of the major PC manufacturers such as Dell. Since high-end game hardware was not widely distributed, the company's founders formed an OEM that sold personal computers with the highest performing hardware and settings according to benchmarks

The "look" of Alienware
Take a look at the "superman", do you like what you see? Yeah, that's what they want you to think. Alienware is one of the best Hardware interface company's available.

Why are people so into the sleek and amazing design of Alienwares products? Its simple, there is indeed no reason. I guess the only way to classify them is "cool". They have an amazing aero-dynamic look to them that is sure to impress the naked eye. They also incorporate a alien theme into all products (get it, Alienware) that is a real eye pleaser. Is the whole world into Aliens, or is it just the Friggin' Computer?

The Alienware "Insides"

Gosh, there is sooo much about Alienware going for them right now, and its just about to get better. The hardware of Alienware is AMAZING! They provide a high end experience, bundled into a mid size, fully customizable machine.

Speaking of Customizable, Alienware offers a custom setup on EVERY computer in stock, as to give a personalized feeling to every computer.

Something that ONLY Alienware does is their 19" Laptop, check it out, its V' underful

Alienware Software

This isn't a very impressive subject to read, so I am going to keep it short for all my readers. Take a look at the picture to the left, it is indeed Windows XP, modified to Alienwares Xtremes. Vista has come around, and Alienware has done their part on that as well.

That concludes software, short huh?

Prices

Pretty much the only downfall to Alienware is the price, even the crappiest (no I don't mean bad, just Lowest grade) Laptop starts at 900$, The crappiest (yeah you understand now) desktop $1,700. If your willing to pop out the big bucks for a quality gaming computer, Alienware is the company to do so.
